Siti and family arrived at our house on Friday evening while ayah and umi should arrived on Friday night. Due to flight delay, they arrived around 1am, Saturday. "Ghibut kuat denung", said ayah. "Kapa terebe dok musing setengoh je, baru boleh tughun", continued ayah. Ayah hugs all my sons except Syafiq because he had already fell asleep.
Ayah woke up early the next morning and said, "Mano Syafiq, ayoh tok jupo dio lagih". When Syafiq woke up, he asked Syafiq to come near him, as usual Syafiq my 'jejaka pemalu' will hide himself.
While having our breakfast, somebody asked ayah, "Ayoh nok gi mano aghi ning?". "Hmm...ayoh nok gi Kapong Baghu (Kg. Baru), nok tengok ghumoh ayoh dulu. Pah tu ayoh nok tengok Chow Kit, Dr. Lo' Lo' kato Chow Kit tok beghuboh". I'm stunned, seriously I never heard that ayah had ever live in Kg. Baru. While pouring some tea for umi, quietly I asked umi, "Bilo ayoh dok Kapong Baghu? Nikoh doh ko nga umi?". Umi smiled at me, "Sebelung nikoh nga umi.. ayoh dok situ." "Oh! Tok tau pong, ida tau flat A101 tu jah." "A101, 16L, umi ingat lagi sapa loning", replied umi.
We left the house around 10am, heading to Cik's place at Wangsa Maju first. "Huh! Tok tinggal peranga oghe baung nih", umi said when she saw Cik came out from his flat wearing kain pelikat. "He..he..dok basuh baju nga gonyoh jambe", replied Cik. We all laughed. Ayah talked to Cik. I know ayah misses Cik so much as Cik always makes him laughs. He knew he had to let Cik choose his own life.
When I first visited Cik, I made a call to umi to report about Cik's well-being, (heheh...busybody sister!), then umi passed the phone to ayah. I told ayah, "Cik ok, tepat dio duduk pong beghesih. Nok gi mano2 sene, ado LRT. Dio pong napok ceria". Ayah satisfied, then he told me, "Maso ayoh mulo2 gi kolupo (Kuala Lumpur) dulu, ayoh teghiok, ayoh belase tahun lagi, tok kenal sapo2 pong". I know ayah had gone through a hard life before, once in a while he would tell us his story.
We left Cik's place and went to Kg Baru. Ayah could not recognize his first house at Kg. Baru. "Hmm...tok ce la ayoh, jadi ghapat2 gini. Dulu ayoh dudok di Jale Rajo Mudo". He tried to locate the place, but he could not remember it. Frustrated, ayah said "Kito gi make lah". We eat and left Kg. Baru, then ayah said, "Maso dok Kapong Baghu ayoh sewa ne oghe, ne puloh ghiya, sepuloh ya soghe". (I don't know for what reason I want to state this part).
On our way to Chow Kit, ayah saw his proud flattened flat, "Mercu tando kolupo dulu nih, flat mulo2 sekali". My hubby drove through Chow Kit and Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, ayah point out a few buildings and recalled his old times.
"Ayoh maghi kolupo nga gapo maso tuh? Ado bas maso tuh?" asked my hubby. "Tak dok lagi, ayoh maghi nga kheto, pah tu naik feri jemeghe sungai, kalu feri tok gerok aghi tu, dok tunggu situla." Ayah came to KL in 60's.
We left KL and arrived home around 3pm. Jat's birthday should be on Sunday, but we celebrate his birthday on Saturday evening with my in-laws. On Sunday, we went to Kak Ta's house as ayah had promised to Abang Zul (Kak Ta's hubby) to visit their new house. Upon seeing Kak Ta's 'nasi komok' on the table, he straight went to the table, "Lapa doh ayoh ngoh ni Ta, nok make eh". After having Kak Ta's yummy dishes, we chatted and laughed and before we left, ayah put a kiss on Kak Ta's sons. "Saye tok ayoh dulu".
From Kak Ta's house, we went straight to A' Famosa Resort. Since we have to check-in around 4pm, we enjoyed ourselves at the water-park. Ayah straightened his leg, "Maghi sini Iman tuh". holding my youngest son, Iman. Tired, Iman fell asleep while with ayah. Ayah just watched his other grandsons enjoying splashing the water while talking to umi. "Eh! Mano cucu2 aku nih?', when he could not see any of his grandsons playing nearby. "Nuh! Gi main alik nung pulok." umi replied.
We slept overnight at a 3 bedroom villa. The next day, we brought ayah to Bandaraya Melaka. We stop at the Portugese ship, we taught ayah would like to take a picture, no...he climbed the ship. Next, we had our lunch at one asam pedas restaurant and drove back to KL. We stop at Nilai 3 and then straight went to Kak Ton's house in Damansara as ayah and umi had not seen Kak Ton after her husband passed away. Kak Mah and Pak Cik Ali also at Kak Ton's house. After that Kak Idah, Wati and Manja came over to stay overnight at Kak Ton's place.
We left Kak Ton's house just after maghrib prayer as Abi and Adik who joined us to A' Famosa will be leaving that night.
Today, around 3pm, Kak Mah, Pak Cik Ali (yes...Kak Mah and Pak cik Ali again, they never missed visiting umi and ayah everytime they knew umi and ayah came to KL as they both retired), Mok Yoh, Kak Pisah and Ali come to my house. Ali said that he had not meet ayah for quite some times. Actually, Ali wanted to meet ayah at Kak Ton's house last night. Since we were quite in a rush, he makes sure he'll meet ayah today.
Ayah and umi had just left, we send them to the airport. As for me, I tried not to cry. Seeing ayah being pushed on a wheelchair, I kissed his forehead and say good bye and ask him to come over again. All my sons kiss ayah, he smiles and that's my ayah...
